:: BACKGROUND ::

Project Phoenix: Warped! is a story I started when I was sixteen as an
experiment to see if writing was a realistic hobby for me to pursue. Over the
course of around four years, it has become highly productive and quite a bit more
successful than anticipated. It has since turned into a project aimed at honing
in on my writing skills, in hopes that eventually it will enable me to be capable
of actual "Publishing worthy" stories in the somewhat near future. This story
represents the first three and a half years of this developmental process.



:: WHAT IS THE STORY ABOUT? O_o ::

First of all, this story is technically "Pokemon Fan Fiction"... But at least a
few of my past readers will tell you fairly straight up, "This is likely not at
all what you expected", or "You might sometimes forget they are even pokemon at
all". Just a heads up


A fairly average 16 year old boy (Based off of myself at that time), frustrated
with several rather mundane issues a dork like himself puts up with daily, makes
a seemingly pointless wish, asking that he might just SOMEHOW find some "real"
purpose to live up to and a life with a little more excitement... But when a
meteorite suddenly impacts his back yard shortly after, he takes it and thinks
little of it and just returns to his boring old life, and heads to bed.
But to his dismay, he never really returns to his old life at all... When he
wakes up the next day, things are disturbingly different. In his confusion
and denial of the situation, he makes a few seemingly insignificant mistakes that
sets off a bizzare change in him that will completely affect him and his life
forever...

Suddenly, not feeling himself anymore... and in posession of deceivingly immense
destructive potential, he finds himself practically on his own in a quest to
straighten his life out... Realizing that his wish had come true, but in ways he
could not possibly forsee...

:: Final Comment ::

Well it is what is is... And I would call it a "pet project". I really wouldn't
expect more than at out of it in terms of the quality of the wording or mabe even
the plot. If you have a little time to burn or nothing better to do, take a look
at it and tell me what you think. I appreciate critique. Maybe like many who have
already read the story, you might agree that I really didn't do so bad after all
